iWhat max is

max is a coaching service. A qualified kinesiologist reviews a video assessment you record, builds a personalised program of exercises, and adjusts that program based on how each session goes. You access the program through our apps; you do the exercises wherever you want.

iiWhat max is not

If you have an injury, a medical condition, or pain that needs investigation, see a doctor or physiotherapist first. Once they tell you it's safe to move, max can help you do that work consistently and intelligently. We're a complement to medical care, not a substitute for it.

iiiEligibility

You must be 18 or older to use max.

If you're recovering from a recent injury or surgery, are pregnant, have a diagnosed condition that limits exercise, or have red-flag symptoms (sudden severe pain, numbness, weakness, loss of bladder or bowel control, unexplained weight loss, fever), please get clearance from a doctor before starting.

You know your body better than we do. If you're not sure whether max is appropriate for you, ask a doctor first.

ivWhile you use max

By doing the program, you agree to:

• Stop immediately if any exercise causes sharp, sudden, or worsening pain, dizziness, chest pain, shortness of breath, or anything that doesn't feel right. Skip the exercise, log what happened, and get medical attention if it persists.
• Move within your range. The program is built around how your body moves today, not how you wish it moved. Don't push past discomfort.
• Be honest with your coach. The coaching only works if your check-ins are accurate. If something hurts, say so. If you skipped a session, mark it skipped.
• Use the equipment safely. We tell you the minimum needed (typically a mat, sometimes a band or light dumbbell). Use what you have safely.

vCoach guidance

Your coach is a certified kinesiologist with experience working in clinical and medical-centre settings. They review your assessment video, your check-ins, and your progress, and adjust your program accordingly.

Coach guidance is educational and observational, not medical. Your coach helps you build a movement program that fits your body — they do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat medical conditions. If your coach notices something concerning during a video review, they may recommend you see a doctor; that's a recommendation, not a diagnosis.

Your coach's notes about you are part of your record and visible to you on request.

viAccount, sign-in, and access

You're responsible for keeping your account secure. We use email-based magic-link sign-in, so your email account is the gateway. Don't share access. Tell us at contact@ravaga.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or pose a safety risk to themselves or to our coaches.

viiPayment, refunds, and free courses

• The first course is on us. You don't pay for it. Free means free.
• Paid courses (when introduced) will have their pricing, billing cycle, and refund policy clearly stated at checkout. Until then, this section is a placeholder; we'll publish concrete payment terms before any paid course is offered.
• We don't auto-enrol you into a paid course. You'll always be asked to confirm.

viiiAcceptable use

Don't:

• Use max while impaired (alcohol, drugs that affect coordination)
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute our content (videos, programs, coach feedback)
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attack our infrastructure
• Use the service in violation of any applicable law

ixContent you provide

You keep ownership of the content you upload (assessment videos, photos, notes). By uploading it to max, you grant us a limited licence to store it, process it for the purpose of coaching you, and display it back to you and your coach. We don't use your content for marketing, training models, or anything else without your separate, explicit consent.

You're responsible for the legality of what you upload.

xService availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages, and acts of god happen. We don't owe you compensation for downtime, but we'll work to minimise it and communicate when something breaks.

xiLimitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• max, Ravaga Studio, its directors, employees, and contractors are not liable for any injury, harm, loss, or damage arising from your use of the service, including (without limitation) injuries from performing exercises, decisions to delay seeking medical care, or reliance on coach guidance instead of medical advice.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply only to the extent permitted.

xiiIndemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ravaga Studio and its team from claims arising out of your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your failure to follow medical guidance you needed.

xiiiChanges to these terms

We may update these terms. If the changes are material, we'll let you know by email or in-app banner before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance. If you don't accept, your remedy is to stop using the service and (if you wish) request deletion of your data.

xivTermination

You can delete your account at any time from the profile screen, or by emailing contact@ravaga.com. We can terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms or if continuing the service would create a safety or legal risk. We'll explain why where we reasonably can.

xvGoverning law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes are resolved in the courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country says otherwise.
